Aim and Objectives of the Udalguri District Wushu Association
1.To give Wushu training to the sports interested youths/persons.
2.To work for enabling the youth to make themselves physically fit by Wushu training.
3.To bring awareness on the importance of Wushu.
4.to work for the development of sports and to produce good sportsmen from the region.
5.To enable the sports persons to participate in the different levels of competitions (e.g. state/national/international level of games like Asian Games, Olympic Games etc.)
6.To encourage and enable the youths to recruited in Army, Navy, Airforce and different wings of forces of Govt. of India.
7.Take steps to produce tele-film on Wushu hilight through television,publish calenders and other literatures.
8.To work for bringing peace and tranquility in the socity trough sports.
9.To establish training centres in different places for giving Wushu training.
10.To organise different levels of competitions from time to time.
11.To work for social transformation.

Wushu came in Udalguri District by the sincere efforts made by Founder president Sri Jacob Basumatary,Founder General Secretary Sri Esao Basumatary and adviser Sri Bolendra Brahma of the Udalguri District Wushu Association in 2003. Udalguri District Wushu Association is an affiliate Wushu Association of Assam, Assam Olympic Association, an affiliate Wushu Association of India and Indian Olympic Association.
Recognised by Ministry of Human Reasource Development Govt. of India,Deptt. of Youth Affairs & Sports, School Games Federation of India , CBSE Games of India & International Olympic Committee.
